All new draftees and b’not sheirut who will be arriving this summer ready for drafting or their national service will have to first spend 2 weeks in quarantine.
Many of these young people have a place to quarantine but no one to take care of them. They need to go straight from the airport to quarantine and not all will be sent to a quarantine hotel. This is before they have had a chance to open bank accounts and get credit cards so that they can order food online.
The Michael Levin Base has had many requests over the past few months for help to deliver food especially for shabbat, Now that need has grown. The CoronaVirus is still here and we have to adapt our programming to help take care of their needs.
